Returns and Damaged Orders

Ask us before you buy

Flooring is heavy, often sold from limited lots, and sometimes cut or ordered for a single job, so return terms depend on the product. We do not take online orders yet. Every sale is confirmed by our team, and we will tell you the return terms for your items before you pay. They will also be on your invoice. If you are not sure, call us at 512-339-4145.

Check your order when you get it

• At pickup, look over the material before you load it. Tell us right then if the count, the product or the condition is not what you expected.
• If we deliver by freight, check the pallets before you sign. Write any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt and take photos before the driver leaves. A carrier can only be held responsible for damage that is noted at delivery.
• Open a few boxes and compare them with each other and with your sample. Do not install anything you believe is damaged or the wrong shade. Installed material usually cannot be returned.

Damaged, wrong or missing items

If something arrives damaged, is not what you ordered, or is short, call or email us as soon as you find the problem, and keep the packaging. Send photos of the product, the box labels and the delivery receipt if you can. We will work with you, and with the carrier or manufacturer where needed, to replace it, correct the order or make it right.

Shade and lot matching

Tile, wood and stone vary from lot to lot. Order a little extra for cuts and waste, and take all you need for a room from the same lot. We cannot promise a later order will match an earlier one.

Special orders and cut material

Special-order items, cut-to-length material and clearance lots may not be returnable. We will say so on your quote or invoice before you pay.
